Additional resources for specific populations with disorders of substance use or addictive behaviours
Some resources to support treatment of substance use or addictive behaviours focus on specific populations; these include:
- young people
- older people
- populations of diverse sexuality or gender
- females
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- people with mental illness
- occupational groups.
The national Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS), available on 1800 250 015, may also be able to assist clinicians with referral enquiries for specific populations.
