Management of patients presenting with visual symptoms after elective intraocular surgery

For patients presenting with pain, photophobia and reduced vision after elective intraocular surgery, refer to an ophthalmologist to exclude exogenous endophthalmitis and ongoing postoperative uveitis. Do not prescribe topical antibiotics.
