Genital itch

Genital itch is more commonly caused by dermatoses (such as dermatitis and psoriasis) than infection, and infection caused by Candida and related species should not be assumed. See Genital dermatitis.

Genital itch may also be caused by pubic lice (Phthirus pubis) or scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei).
