Manage cardiac arrhythmias in the setting of cardiac arrest in accordance with the latest Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. The guidelines are regularly reviewed and updated based on best current evidence. Life support flow charts are also available.

Arrange transfer of patients who recover from an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest to hospital for further evaluation and to determine the cause of the arrest—assess the patient’s left ventricular function and whether they have coronary artery disease or structural heart disease.
