Dosage of danaparoid

Danaparoid is a parenteral low molecular weight heparinoid consisting of heparin sulfate, dermatan sulfate and chondroitin sulfate. It has primarily anti-Xa activity. Danaparoid is predominantly excreted via the kidneys so it should be avoided in patients with a calculated creatinine clearance (CrCl) less than 30 mL/min; seek specialist advice.
