Periodic genetic review

Often the cause of an adult’s disability has been investigated in their childhood. If the cause remains unknown, they should be reviewed every 5 years until they have a definitive diagnosis; see Genetic testing for people with developmental disability.

Genetic review is included as part of a comprehensive health assessment for people with developmental disability.
