Symptoms and diagnosis of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease in children 1 year or older
Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) in children is a clinical diagnosis with regurgitation and associated complications. Signs that may be associated with GORD in children include oesophageal complications (eg oesophagitis, stricture, gastrointestinal bleeding) and extra-oesophageal manifestations (eg failure to thrive, oral aversion, recurrent pneumonia, unexplained anaemia, dental erosions).
