Rifabutin-based triple therapy in adults

Rifabutin-based triple therapy is usually third choice salvage therapy for H. pylori eradication; generally, quinolone-based triple therapy and bismuth-based quadruple therapy are preferred. Use:

a proton pump inhibitor orally, twice daily for 10 days

OR

PLUS

Eradication rates between 65 and 80% have been reported with this regimen.
