Raynaud phenomenon and digital ischaemia in inflammatory connective tissue diseases
Raynaud phenomenon can occur in any inflammatory connective tissue disease. Suspect an associated inflammatory connective tissue disease in people with Raynaud phenomenon who have other clinical features common to inflammatory connective tissue disease (eg arthralgia, fatigue). An elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and a positive antinuclear antibody (ANA) result may support the diagnosis.
