Management overview for quetiapine poisoning
Quetiapine is an antipsychotic drug that is available as immediate-release and modified-release preparations.
Quetiapine poisoning can cause coma, tachycardia, seizures, urinary retention and anticholinergic delirium.
Management of quetiapine poisoning is primarily supportive care. For poisonings due to modified-release preparations of quetiapine, an extended period of observation is required.
