Risk assessment for hydrocarbon ingestion

Specific risk assessment advice is given for ingestions due to the following hydrocarbons:

• essential oils (eg camphor, citronella oil, clove oil, eucalyptus oil, pennyroyal oil, tea-tree oil, oil of wintergreen)
• hydrocarbon solvents used in organophosphate insecticides.
