Review of abrasions

An abrasion is normally a minor injury. Severity depends on the extent and depth of the wound, and the general health of the patient. Expect significant improvement within 7 days. If this does not occur, consider factors affecting wound healing, optimise patient comorbidities, and consider referral for further assessment.
