Evidence is limited for brief interventions as a standalone approach to reduce cannabis useImtiaz, 2020. However, brief interventions may increase motivation to make changes that support gradual reduction of cannabis use, planned management of cannabis withdrawal, or psychological interventions to reduce use or prevent relapse; evidence of efficacy is more certain for these treatment approaches.
