Equipment and physical facilities
Appropriate equipment and physical facilities required for all levels of procedural sedation and analgesia include:
- monitoring equipment appropriate for the level of sedation and patient comorbidities
- full resuscitation equipment, including age-appropriate airway management tools and a defibrillator; see Managing complications of procedural sedation and analgesia.
