Haematological manifestations of antiphospholipid syndrome
Mild to moderately severe thrombocytopenia (platelet count between 50 to 120 ×109/L) is the most frequent haematological manifestation of antiphospholipid syndrome and is observed in approximately 22% of patients.
Uncommon haematological presentations of antiphospholipid syndrome include bleeding and haemolytic anaemia (possibly an autoimmune association with antiphospholipid syndrome).
