Management for oral and dental features of systemic sclerosis

Facial scleroderma often is associated with reduced oral aperture and subsequent trismus, which compromise the ability to perform adequate dental hygiene; see Nonpharmacological management cutaneous features of systemic sclerosis and Trismus. Refer the person for specialist dental management.
