- hypnosis weekly for 5 weeks reduces vasomotor symptoms
- weight loss in overweight or obese postmenopausal individuals reduces vasomotor symptoms
- mindfulness-based stress reduction is potentially beneficial
- stellate ganglion block reduces vasomotor symptoms for 6 months
- acupuncture, chiropractic intervention, paced respiration, relaxation therapy, yoga, exercise and magnetic therapy are of no benefit.
