Topical local anaesthetics for premature ejaculation
Thick condoms can be useful to reduce sensitivity in premature ejaculation. Topical application of a local anaesthetic can delay ejaculation. A suitable regimen is:
lidocaine+prilocaine 2.5+2.5% eutectic mixture of local anaesthetics (EMLA) cream topically in a thin layer to glans and distal shaft of penis, 10 to 20 minutes before intercourse. Wash off residual cream or apply a condom before contact with partner. premature ejaculation lidocaine + prilocaine
