Observation and patient disposition after synthetic cannabinoid-receptor agonist poisoning
Admit patients with significant CNS or cardiovascular toxicity due to synthetic cannabinoid-receptor agonist poisoning. With supportive treatment, the vast majority of patients will recover within 12 to 24 hours. Observe patients until symptoms fully resolve.
Sedative drugs can continue to cause significant cognitive impairment for several days following exposure. Advise patients not to drive or operate machinery for at least 3 days after discharge.
