Treatment for colchicine poisoning from plants

Manage a patient who has ingested plant-derived colchicine similarly to an acute colchicine poisoning with intravenous fluid resuscitation and supportive care for potential multiorgan failure. Early gastrointestinal decontamination with activated charcoal is recommended because of the risk of severe poisoning and the lack of other effective treatments.
