Treatment for neutropenia

Refer patients with neutropenia (indicating bone marrow suppression) caused by colchicine poisoning to a clinical haematologist. Treatment with granulocyte–colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) may stimulate bone marrow and shorten the period of neutropenia.
