Hori naevus

Hori naevus (also known as naevus fusco caeruleus zygomaticus) is histologically identical to a naevus of Ota, and is often seen in Asian females. Slate-coloured macules usually appear gradually on the upper outer cheeks of young adults. See here for a photo of Hori naevus.

If treatment is desired, refer for dermatologist advice and laser therapy. Lesions respond well to laser therapy, although multiple sessions are usually needed.
