Treatment for nausea and vomiting

Treatment for nausea and vomiting is indicated in theophylline poisoning.

For adults, use:

ondansetron 8 mg intravenously, over at least 30 seconds, every 8 to 12 hours as required. theophylline and caffeine poisonings ondansetron

For children, use:

1 ondansetron 0.15 mg/kg up to 8 mg orally, every 8 hours as required ondansetron
