Enterobacterales meningitis

Enterobacterales (enteric gram-negative bacilli, notably Escherichia coli and Klebsiella species) causes meningitis, most commonly in neonates and children younger than 2 months. It is also a common cause of healthcare-associated or shunt-related meningitis. For advice on treatment, see:
